JUPITER FROM IO

[Digital art]

An image of Jupiter as seen from the surface of its volcanicly active moon Io. The mountain peaks are catching the low sun light from behind us but the foreground is illuminated by the light reflected back of the Gas Giant.

I painted this in Photoshop working from general block shapes progressively adding detail and refining. No Filters were used except for the starfield.
